Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s New Emergency Entrance: Now Open!

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s (BIDMC) Berenson Emergency Department patient drop-off and walk-in entrance is now open. The entrance permanently relocated to the Rosenberg building front entrance at 1 Deaconess Road

Relocating the patient entrance will facilitate construction of BIDMC’s new inpatient building. Construction on the new building is slated to begin summer 2019.

With the opening of the new Emergency Department entrance, patients and families will have access to:

  •          New parking options: Valet parking will be available 24/7 at the Rosenberg entrance, located at 1 Deaconess Road, and self-parking will be available close at the Pilgrim Road garage, located at 170 Pilgrim Road.
  •          Building Amenities: Patients and families will be able to easily access food and beverage options, an ATM and more in the Rosenberg lobby.
  •          Updated signage: Signage around the BIDMC campus will be updated to make it clear how to access the new entrance, whether on foot or by car.
