If you live within 10 miles of the Longwood Area and drive to work alone, consider trying the new CommuteLine incentive program.
What is it?
Instead of driving to work alone and parking, you will use Lyft Line to arrange a ride with a new driver to and from work each day, potentially being paired with a neighbor who also works in the Longwood Area. This program will give you a chance to try out ridesharing. Once you enroll and put your parking space on hold, CommuteWorks will help offset your commuting costs with $40 in Lyft credits per month during the three month incentive period.

How does it work?
Once you register for the program, CommuteWorks will work with your employer to place your parking space "on hold" for three months, generally starting the first day of the next full month. You'll need to download the Lyft app to your personal mobile phone. Once you have the Lyft app and you're fully qualified for the program, CommuteWorks will provide you with an incentive of $40 in Lyft credits per month for up to 3 calendar months. You'll be responsible for arranging your Lyft Line trip to and from work each day. Once you complete the program, you can decide whether you want to continue or return to your old commute.
Am I eligible?
You need to be a registered daytime parker in order to be eligible for CommuteLine. This means you must drive to work and park during the day, and pay for parking directly through your employer.
