MASCO has been committed to quality child care services in the Longwood Medical and Academic area for more than 30 years. Several child care options are available to employees of LMA institutions:

Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center (LMACCC)
The Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center (LMACCC) provides care for 96 children from ages 2 months to 5 years. The LMACCC enrolls children of employees of participating LMA institutions – Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Joslin Diabetes Center, Simmons College and MASCO. Two spots are reserved for members of the community. There is a wait list for slots. The LMACCC is an independent, self-supporting nonprofit organization.

Bright Horizons Family Center at Landmark Center
The Bright Horizons Family Center at Landmark serves 140 children from ages 6 weeks to 6 years. MASCO Services, Inc. signed a long-term contract with the center to provide priority enrollment to employees of participating members – Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health.

The LMA Family Childcare Network
The LMA Family Childcare Network is an exciting new opportunity for employees of the Longwood area institutions. This Network, kicking off in August 2013, will provide access to in-home childcare providers in neighborhoods surrounding the LMA.

These providers are well-trained, licensed, and will provide your child with a nurturing quality home setting with fewer children than traditional center based childcare. In collaboration with well-known and respected Associated Early Care and Education, the LMA Family Childcare Network has carefully selected 8-10 family childcare homes that will provide quality care to LMA members’ children.

Bright Horizons Priority Access for MASCO
The Bright Horizons contract offers participating members’ employees access to all Bright Horizons community based centers on a priority basis. Providing priority access to over 50 local centers allows employees to have flexibility by using child care centers near their home or a spouse’s work place rather than the Bright Horizons at Landmark Center.
