Customer Survey Response

Lansdowne Lot/Shuttle

This graph represents the Lansdowne Garage results of the2008 Customer Service Survey.

There is a Lack of Security, Cleanliness and Maintenance:  We are aware of these issues, and are working with the owner of the facility and his parking vendor (Pilgrim Parking) to address these concerns

Rude drivers:  Each driver should always act in a courteous manner.  Please report any cases of rude behavior to our customer service representative at 617-632-2800 so that we can have the information (route, date, time, bus number) we need to research the complaint and take disciplinary action as warranted.  MASCO is also working with our provider to implement eight additional hours per year of customer service training for our drivers.  In addition, we reward and encourage good drivers through our Driver Appreciation Program.

Poor driving:  Poor driving is of particular concern and is aggressively addressed.  Any concerns or observations you have in this regard should be immediately reported to us by calling 617/632-2800 with the route, location, date, time, name/description of the driver, and bus number (if possible) so that we have the information we need to take corrective action.

Improper signage:  Our service provider has been charged with the task of ensuring that all of our buses have proper signs.  Apart from this, we have increased our level of street supervision in order to spot incorrectly signed vehicles.

Cars are left unlocked:  Leaving a vehicle unlocked is not acceptable, and in the instances where this has been done, the attendant has been disciplined.  We will continue to address this issue through improved training and supervision.

Attendants at Fenway aren’t cooperative during Red Sox games:  We understand the inconvenience that parkers in the Fenway facilities experience during baseball games.  In exchange for favorable daytime parking lease arrangements, our agreements with the various property owners carry certain obligations regarding baseball parking.  Unfortunately, this sometimes means that parkers may be directed to specific areas of a facility, or may need to valet park their vehicles on game days.  We also encourage parkers to move their vehicles before 6 PM, if possible.

Line Painting:  The parking operator, Pilgrim Parking, handles the line painting at Lansdowne Garage.  This issue has been brought to their attention.  They are waiting for approval from the property owner to re-stripe the garage.

Garage Closes too Early:  The Lansdowne Garage hours of operations are from 5:15 AM until 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  We are aware that the garage gates were locked earlier than normal on several occasions.  These issues have been addressed with the parking operator, and the parking attendants in question were disciplined.  It is our sincere hope that this issue will not happen again.  Anyone needing after hour access to the garage should call the MASCO emergency number (617) 632-2881for assistance.
