JFK/UMASS Shuttle

This graph represents the JFK/UMASS results of the2008 Customer Service Survey.

Shuttle Buses are old, noisy and sometimes leak when it rains:  Although these buses are serviced on a daily basis, they are at the end of their life cycle and will be replaced with newer and larger buses, starting July 2008.

Friendly Drivers:  Our goal is to provide the best possible customer service.  Thank you for your kind comments about our drivers.

Buses are not in shape - Lack of A/C:  With the arrival of the newer buses, we fully expect that these problems will be eliminated.

Restrict the use of cell phones on the buses:  We understand the inconvenience of someone talking on the cell phone while you’re trying to read or relax during the commute.  We have placed posters on shuttles encouraging people to respect their fellow riders by not talking on their cell phones.  We will increase this effort.

Improper signage:  Our service provider has been charged with the task of ensuring that all of our buses have proper signs.  Apart from this, we have increased our level of street supervision in order to spot incorrectly signed vehicles.

Some drivers talk on the cell phone while driving:  Any driver who is caught talking on the cell phone while driving will be suspended for three days.  Please contact us at (617) 632-2800 to report this violation by giving us the route, time, driver name/description and bus number (if possible).
