The institutions in the Longwood Medical and Academic area are committed to making the area a safe place to work, study, and receive medical care. Urban and densely populated, and with more than 105,000 people in the area each day, safety and security are priorities.

MASCO members work together and with city and state public safety officials to maintain and enhance the security of the area. Collaboration helps keep the crime rate in the LMA low.
