MASCO area planning staff members conduct periodic surveys of safety hazards in the LMA. We work with city and state public agencies to address street light outages, poor sidewalk conditions, faded road markings and other issue areas.

For city issues (such potholes on public roads or street light outages in the LMA excluding The Fenway and The Riverway), you may report directly to the city online or by calling the Mayor’s hotline at 617-635-4500.

Please contact us at conco@masco.harvard.edu or (617) 935-9420  to report problems with roadway and sidewalk conditions, handicap ramps, catch basins, signage, tree grates, traffic signals, street lights, graffiti, snow removal or similar public realm issues. We can help identify the responsible party and get the problem resolved.
