emergency preparedness group works with member institutions to:

Assess
training needs and develop programs

Coordinate staffing of the Joint Operations Center (JOC)

Manage
area-wide communication systems

Perform
area-wide emergency preparedness drills

Coordinate activities with City and State efforts

Provide
operational and technical support to Colleges of the Fenway (COF)
on work associated with the receipt of their FEMA Disaster
Resistant University Grant

Assist
members on the development of guidelines for sharing resources
in the event of a major emergency
Security

appropriate responses to safety concerns in and around the LMA
