What Can The Many Talented Students At The Massachusetts College of Art and Design Do For You? A LOT!

For nearly 13 years, Lisa Rosowsky, Professor of Graphic Design at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, has partnered with local non-profit organizations to produce printed projects while giving her students exposure to real clients with communications needs.

"Each Fall, we take on a worthy project that allows my students to provide design and editorial work at no cost, in exchange for the opportunity to work on challenging and visually exciting projects and see them through printing and production. In the past we've worked with Dana Farber, Children's Hospital, Boston Medical Center, Partners in Health, Boston Public Schools, and others to produce projects," said Rosowsky. “Many of our past projects have gone into second printings and been picked up for use by other institutions.”

“It's a win-win for the organization we pair with, and for the students. For some students it may be their first time working with an actual client from initial concept meeting through design, editing and production. Our partner community organizations are getting a quality project with no design cost (the organization is responsible for printing costs) while supporting young and talented designers," she added.

Professor Rosowsky is particularly interested in projects that address problems in public health and healthcare for disadvantaged populations, but welcomes inquiries from anyone considering a partnership with Mass Art's experienced design team.  You can see examples of past projects at http://chrisskinner.github.io/cpd/index.html
