MASCO and Members Partner up for "Love Your Block"

Last weekend volunteers from BIDMC partnered with the City of Boston's "Love Your Block" initiative to support the city's efforts to "clean up your neighborhood."

With financial support from MASCO, BIDMC and Harvard Medical School, eight volunteers spent the better part of their Saturday cleaning up sections of Mission Hill.

In 2015, the City of Boston kicked off the Love Your Block mini-grant program thanks to Cities of Service. Love Your Block will now be a permanent Boston program, including: mini-grants, neighborhood cleanups (formerly Boston Shines), and (eventually) community tool sheds. As always, the Office of Civic Engagement continues to urge Bostonians to revitalize their neighborhoods, one block at a time.

Congratulations and thank you to this wonderful group of volunteers!
