Finding Shelter Among Strangers While in Treatment

When facing a health crisis, the last thing a patient or a patient's family needs to worry about is where they will lay their heads at night, and can they afford to?

The Boston Globe has featured an amazing organization in its February 23rd edition. Boston-based Hospitality Homes helps out-of-towners visiting patients at Boston hospitals find free places to stay with volunteer host families. Since its founding in 1983, the not-for-profit has served over 15,000 families.
