Construction Update for the LMA

The Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA) will be under construction from 2002-2007, with 13 institutional & 6 public agency projects totaling over four million square feet of new construction. Additionally, many other institutions are currently developing campus master plans.  

Due to possible traffic impacts, please add 15-20 minutes to your trip to any institution in the LMA and check our web site for Construction Advisories and Project Updates when planning your trip.

The purpose of this section is to provide MASCO member institutions and their patients, visitors, students, as well as members of the Boston community with up-to-date information on construction activities affecting the area.
