BikeWeek Commuter Challenge 2006: iBike
Boston
and Cambridge-The Bike Week Commuter Challenge 2006 was a great
success with over 1350 employees and students registering to ride
their bikes to work/school during National Bike Week, May 15 – 19,
2006. In the Longwood Medical and Academic Area (LMA), 313 employees
from 15 MASCO member institutions participated in the challenge. All
participants in the LMA were invited to enjoy a complimentary
breakfast on May 18th, sponsored by Breugger’s Bagels.
The
Bike Week Commuter Challenge 2006 winners were recognized at a
ceremony at Flattop Johnny’s on May 24, 2005. A plaque was
presented to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for winning the Bike Week
award in their category of 3000-4999 employees or students.
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute had 58 participants in the challenge
and a total of 35 bonus points for having bike-friendly amenities
such as bike information and bike racks. The complete list of

Cambridge Area Transportation Management Associations (TMAs)- such
