Enjoy Subsidized Transit Passes and Parking
With CommuteWorks'

Who is eligible?

Eligible commuters from MASCO's member institutions include:

  • Drive alone employees with registered parking spaces, and
  • Employees with new residential locations (within 60 days of registering for this program) that increase the cost of their transit passes.

Eligible employees from MASCO's member institutions will receive the wonderful incentives below.

  • Up to $65 per month for three months towards transit passes
  • $2 a day for parking at a transit station (up to $46 per month per person) for three months
  • Two free parking vouchers per month to park at an offsite lot
  • Five free rides home (gratuity not included) for personal emergencies under the Emergency Ride Home Program

Drive alone commuters with registered parking spaces must place their spaces "on hold" for three months during the Program. Participants are guaranteed their parking spaces back at anytime during the Program if they are not satisfied with taking public transportation. Participants will not be charged for their parking space while it is "on-hold" during the Program. Employees, who currently take public transit to work and who change their residential locations resulting in an increased cost of their transit passes, must prove that their move date is within 60 days of registering for this program. Employees currently enrolled in their institution's transit pass subsidy program should discontinue their enrollment in that Program while enrolled in the Longwood "T" Party Program. Incentives will be given, while supplies last.

At the beginning of each month, CommuteWorks will send a Commuter Check to each registered participant. Participants can use Commuter Checks at major MBTA Stations, such as North Station, South Station, and Government Center to buy the MBTA passes.  Several other local businesses such as 7-11 also accept Commuter Checks as payment for transit passes.  Please note that most institutions in the LMA do not accept Commuter Checks at the Parking/Human Resources/Cashiers Offices. To learn about the locations in Massachusetts that accept Commuter Checks, please contact CommuteWorks at (617) 632-2796.

Each participant may submit reimbursement for parking up to $2 per day (up to $46 per month). Parking will be reimbursed after the trial period for all three months. Simply fill out the Request for Parking Reimbursement Form.

To register for the Program, please fill out the registration form. Interested employees may also request registration forms by fax or mail. Please contact CommuteWorks at (617) 632-2796 if you would like to receive a registration form by fax or mail.
