CHB Construction, Binney Street One Way, Starting Nov 21, 2011 for 12 months

Scope:
Starting Monday November 21, 2011 the section of Binney Street between the Galleria steps and Jimmy Fund Way/Children’s Way will be one-way southbound (from Longwood Avenue towards Jimmy Fund Way) for approximately 12 months. Please see the attached signage plan.

Traffic/Other Impacts/ Mitigation:
Ambulances to CHB, BWH and DFCI will continue to have access to the ambulance bays/emergency care travelling southbound from Longwood Avenue. Access to DFCI, CHB and Galleria loading docks will be maintained.

Four (x4) police details will direct traffic and pedestrians: one at either end of the construction zone, one at the intersection of Francis/Binney streets and one at the intersection of Jimmy Fund Way/Brookline Avenue.

Directional signage will be placed as shown on the attached plan.

Traffic engineers will monitor the area during the first few days of implementation to assess traffic impacts.
